Default Fantasy MMA UFC 106

We are going to try a new thing to get people's input and opinions about each fight card. Before each card starting with 106 we are going to do a fantasy scoring system. I will explain a little more about what I mean. Prior to card start time each member may post within the fight forum about different things regarding the fights, you can post regarding any fight within the card. After the card points will be tallied depending on who called what the closest and will be that card's "Fantasy Champ."

Let me tell you a little more about what I mean. Say I wanted to call the Ortiz and Griffin fight. I would post what I think would happen. i.e. "I think Griffin is going to land a head kick in the 2nd round to knock Ortiz out." That would be my call, main points being Head Kick in 2nd Round, winner being Griffin. Then after the bout points would be scored as posted below and the person with the most points will be our Fantasy Champ for that card.

Scoring is as follows:
  • Calling the correct winner (i.e. Ortiz) 1 point.
  • Calling the correct reason for victory (i.e. Split Decision) 2 points.**
  • Calling the correct round for victory (i.e. 3rd Round) 3 points

**- Split Decision and Majority Decision will be regarded as seperate things, in case of a decision vote the round for victory will not be applicable, thus you will recieve 4 points for getting the correct decision

In case of a tie in points all winners will be named.

*You may call AS MANY fights as you want within that card.

Good luck, and may the best man win.
