Default Will the UFC sign Fedor Emelianenko

There has been some going back and forth on this one. Hard to believe they havent sealed the deal. I was blown away when I heard what Fedor wanted. HALF ownership of the UFC.

Now we all know that Dana is not going to go for that. There is no fighter worth that. Hell Fedor cant even think for himself. he is just a machine ran by his management and trainers.

Personally I dont care if he comes to the UFC or not. But it would be nice to see someone shut Lesners big mouth up.

I certainly do wish he would sign with the UFC, if only to shutup Brock Lesnar, as you mentioned. Unfortunately, if this were to happen at all, it's not going to be for a while. I hadn't heard about that 50% ownership of UFC part, but that is absurd. Side note: I just rewatched the Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia fight...wow.

Well I think they would sign him as his previous record is magnificent....Emelianenko has been universally considered the best heavyweight fighter in the world for the last six years by major publications like ESPN and Sherdog etc....So definitely such a fighter deserves the place in the fighting arena like UFC

I think Fedor definately has the potential to shut down Brock, but it would defiantely be a clash of some of the best Heavyweights in MMA. I tend to pull a little more toward Brock within this bout, Fedor has all the experience when compared to Brock, but tends to be a bit more laid back within the ring as we have seen in his past few fights, whereas Brock tends to have that explosive factor about him. I think one of the main reasons this would make such a good fight is the confidence level of both fighters, Fedor has knocked out/tapped some of the best heavyweights in the world and knows how good of a fighter he is. Where as Brock is naturally cocky and I doubt he would take Fedor as anything more than a bump in the road. I think this would be a clash of the giants within the MMA universe, but as such I doubt we will see it for a long time. In a press conference Dana was quoted saying "Fedor WILL fight in the UFC." But how far is he really willing to go to make that happen?
