Default What is the WEC to the UFC?

Is the WEC a minor-league training camp for those good enough to move into the UFC?

If yes, then why aren't Faber and Brown in the UFC?

Or is the WEC a stand-alone organization for great fighters in weights that the UFC does not necessarily have good fighters in?

I think both organizations are owned by White / Zuffa, but I still don't get the relationship between the 2 organizations.

The UFC focuses on the heavier weight classes, and the WEC focuses on the lighter weight classes. The UFC has some weight classes that the WEC does not have, and the WEC has some weight classes that the UFC does not have. I think both organizations should merge, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Well UFC is ultimate fighting championship and WEC is world extreme cagefighting...Both are different in professional manners....Maybe some people would suggest that WEC is tougher and exciting and some other people would praise UFC...both have exciting features and people watching these type of fight events definitely enjoy their time....But as far as a professional fighter is concerned I find UFC more complex and difficult...
