i've got a new conspiracy ..just as a note im making these up for fun.......
since anderson silva and machida are friends and training partners it was decided in the beginning that silva would go out and finish fights fast to get himself known and in the spotlight. meanwhile machida was winning decisions being talked bad about. this was done so that they werent both in the spotlight at the same time.. now its machidas turn he is going to finish fights while silva is going to decisions since silva has had his turn in the spotlight so fans will look more towards machida than silva at this point the next step is they both lose in an attempt to even further their popularty by having people ask can they return to the top.........its all marketing genius

Well this is the problem with everyone...Just to market yourself properly doesn't mean that you have to take steps like this...I don't think its good at all....As i find the professionals very down to earth guys and they are just being used for marketing purposes....

I can understand your reasoning for this theory. And even though they may be friends. I think since they are both in the same industry for the same reasons. I can't put the two together that one would lessen their own career for the benefit of a friend (despite who they are). I am the type of person who believes its a dog-eat-dog world. So this is hard for me to comprehend working.
